…not exactly, yet not too far from the truth. Between March 6th and 9th 2014 Austria welcomes the most important and most influential boat show in Central and Eastern Europe.
It is the Austrian Boat Show. The Boot Tulln 2014 where some 350 exhibitors from nautical sector are going to show their latest inventions and products.
Austrian Boat Show
Fascination by water sports inspired the organizers to pay special attention to manufacturers. Such as those of sporting sailing and motor vessels, turbo-jet water scooters, nature friendly electric vessels. Also sporty catamarans, kayaks, canoes, stand-up-paddling boards, surfboards, scuba diving gear, sailing gear and clothes and many more.
The organizers did not forget that a large number of charter clients comes from Central and Eastern Europe. A special section was just for them.
Tourism and Travel Section
Tourist and travel section of the fair was presenting major charter companies and fleets, sailing schools, marinas and sailing destinations. As well as the most attractive diving spots, diving schools, kite and wind surfing spots and schools, travel and accommodation offer.
Additionally, Boot Tulln 2014 will give the excellent opportunity for all those who consider purchase, refit, maintenance or investment in nautical infrastructure at the Mediterranean. Some regulations regarding tax system and legislative that concern coastline construction building recently changed, especially in Croatia.
Leisure Sailing
Leisure sailing fans will be able to observe the latest offer from renowned shipyards. Such as Bavaria, Beneteau, Dufour, Hanse or Elan as well as less known but equally interesting. Some include Alubat Ovni, Brenta, J-Boats, Ege Yat and many more.
Among motor yachts, Bayliner, Cranchi, Galeon, Menorquin, Regal and many more confirmed their appearance.
Tickets
The 42nd edition of the fair was from March 6th to 9th on the banks of Europe’s longest river Danube. Adults will have to pay 11 € for a daily ticket. 9.5 € is the ticket price for students and retired. Parents of kids aging between 6 and 15 will have to pay 2 €. That’s if they wanted to show their children ‘big boats’.
