Sailing Conditions in Grenada
Grenada has a tropical climate with temperatures between 20°C and 30°C all year round. From December to May, the weather is dry, and the temperatures are cooler due to the trade winds. The rainy season runs from hot and humid months of June to November, when tropical storms and hurricanes are most likely to occur. Winds are nearly always at 10-25 knots. The best time to sail Grenada is in peak season (mid-December to mid-April) for obvious reasons - these are the months with the least rainfall, which means your chances of a perfect vacation are pretty high.

Top Reason to Visit Grenada
Choose between skippered or bareboat charter in Grenada, a volcano-made island and explore its mountainous terrain and small rivers with waterfalls flowing into the sea. The waterfalls are a tourist attraction, so put some of them on your Grenada sailing itinerary: Annandale Waterfalls, Mt. Carmel, Seven Sisters, and Concord.
Grenada yacht charter gives you an opportunity to relax and do water sports on one of the best beaches in the world, Grand Anse Beach. Discover sunken shipwrecks and make sure not to miss an amazing snorkelling session in the world’s first Underwater Sculpture Park. The southern part of the island has several beautiful bays that look especially astounding from the deck of your charter yacht.
Visiting the nearby St. Vincent and the Grenadines can also be part of your Grenada sailing itinerary, if the weather permits it. However, take note that sailing around Grenada can be slightly more challenging than sailing in the BVI’s, for example.
